The
Annual Presidents’ Night was held at the home of our President for 2006/07
David and Sonja Reeds’ at Leabrook. On behalf of all members and visitors
I would like to extend a special thank you to Sonja and David for their
hospitality on the night.
A very
enjoyable and social evening was attended by 32 members and Guests
including the President of Pasadena Lions Club John Hodge and members of
the Edwardstown Ladies Auxiliary.
The
salads and sweets were provided by the ladies and three of the Club
members cooked the B.B.Q.
A novel
competition was held by asking all attending to bring a photograph of
themselves as a small child. All attending were then asked to name the
various people in the photos, the first prize was two nights accommodation
in the Reeds’ Caravan which was won by Ellen Duncombe, second prize was
one night’s accommodation in the Caravan which was won by Reg McDougall.
